Finally I found this website and was able to fix the problem by downloading the repair tool. I'm not very knowledgeable about computers and I'm disabled so it's not easy for me to bring my computer in to the store to get repaired.
This software was great because it fixed everything for me.
Depending on the version of Java and your Mozilla browser, the Java plugin may be disabled in the Firefox or Sea Monkey Add-ons Manager or the Java plugin may require Click to Play (CTP) activation. 
In current Mozilla browsers, you'll need to activate Java.

Hopefully my computer won't have any other issues but if it does now I know how to fix it. Reimage fixed the problem I was having and everything is working perfectly again.
